Almost 40 of our international residents here in Utrecht are closer to being ready than ever before, after the recent free seminar hosted by our partners at Dutchtaxadvice.nl on the 14th of March. Our enthusiastic participants took active interest in all our experts had to say about filling in your M-biljet, how to fill in boxes 1, 2, and 3, personal deductions and eligibility for various benefits. The second half of the evening revolved around the intricacies of the 30% ruling, how one can lose eligibility for the ruling, as well as how to go about getting the ruling if you are eligible but were previously unaware.
Many thanks to Mark Bastiaans and Filip Bonev with Dutchtaxadvice.nl for their valuable time and effort in spreading awareness about this often frustrating fact of life!
If you were unable to attend the session but are still interested in getting more informed about the Dutch income tax process, or the 30% ruling, Mark & Filip invite you to visit their page dedicated to Income tax returns. You can also request information about the fee(s) for their services by clicking on the “Request a fee” button in the top right corner, which will lead you to a questionnaire. This questionnaire will also give you a good idea of the items you should consider for your 2018 Income tax return. Please visit: https://www.dutchtaxadvice.nl/dutch-income-tax-return.
